Registration is accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If it is necessary for your child to be in a class with a friend, be sure to register together in the same envelope and do so immediately to avoid disappointment. Classes fill quickly, therefore the later you register, the more difficult it is to get the days and times of your choice. The schedule is subject to change.

You may still register with a written form, if you prefer to do so please print form below and send to the studio. Please note, important information regarding your child's enrollment and involvement at the Academy of Dance may be delivered to you through email, postal mail, or telephone. Once you arrive, you will sign and we will assist you as soon as we can. We look forward to meeting and helping you in any way we can!
Dance Teachers Training Program Meeting

All demonstrators, assistant teachers, and any advanced dancers in grades 8 and above (6 and above with
teacher recommendation) that are interested in becoming a demonstrator or teacher’s assistant are
required to attend orientation!

Studio Policies
~When enrolling in Jazz classes, ballet and/or lyrical must be taken in conjunction according to grade level. (Students up to 5th grade-ballet, students 6th grade or higher-lyrical or ballet) Likewise, when enrolling in Acro Dance (k/1), ballet must be taken. If enrolling in Acro Jazz (Gr. 2-5), jazz class must be taken as well and are required to participate in Acro Jazz classes.
~Those students who participate in a performing company (ex. Disney) or on the competition team must be enrolled in a ballet class no matter what grade level. (3rd grade and above)
~If you miss the beginning of the dance year for an extended time due to conflicts with sports, vacations, etc. you have two options:
1. The studio will put a hold on your registration, no tuition will be due until you return, However, your place in class will not be held and you run the risk that the class(es) you will be filled
or
2. We will hold a spot for you in your class(es), but, tuition must be paid on time and you are encouraged to make up those missed classes when you begin.

Ballet: Leotard with tights. Pink ballet slippers. Ballet skirts and "booty" shorts are permitted.
Lyrical: Leotard with tights. Tan lyrical boots. Skirts and "booty" shorts are permitted. Footundeez are permitted at teacher's discretion.
Tap & Jazz: Leotard and tights. Black jazz shoes and black tap shoes.
Boys: Black dance pants with plain white T-shirt and black dance shoes.
Hair Must be tied back and secured for class!
Teachers have the final say as to what is appropriate attire for dance class. If Students do not follow the dress code, they will not be permitted to dance.

Our teachers will be available for summer private lessons. This is a perfect time to treat your child to the ultimate dance enrichment. Students who take private lessons have the opportunity to work at their own pace with the eyes of the instructor exclusively on them. Students can select the area they would like to focus on. For details or to be put on a teacher’s summer list, please see any one of our instructors. Private lessons are $25.00 per lesson. Summer Dance Camps are offered for children of all ages. Please see a teacher for details.
