Tuition
- Yearly tuition is paid in ten monthly installments from September to June. September and June's tuition is due by September 12th.
- Tuition remains the same whether it is a short (3 Week) or long (5 Week) month.
- Tuition is due the first lesson of each month.
- A late charge of $10.00 will be added to your bill for payments received after the 12th of the month.
- Please place all payments in the studio mailbox.
Studio Policies
~In order to participate in lessons at the Academy of Dance, students must be enrolled in a ballet or lyrical class according to grade level.
Students Kindergarten to 5th grade must be enrolled in a ballet class. Students in 6th grade or higher would need to be enrolled in a lyrical class. Those students who participate in the performing company or on the competition team must be enrolled in a ballet class no matter what grade level. (3rd grade and above)
~If you miss the beginning of the dance year for an extended time due to conflicts with sports, vacations, etc. you have two options:
1. The studio will put a hold on your registration, no tuition will be due until you return, However, your place in class will not be held and you run the risk that the class(es) you will be filled
or
2. We will hold a spot for you in your class(es), but, tuition must be paid on time and you are encouraged to make up those missed classes when you begin.

Ballet: Leotard with tights. Pink ballet slippers. Ballet skirts and "booty" shorts are permitted.
Lyrical: Leotard with tights. Tan lyrical boots. Skirts and "booty" shorts are permitted. Footundeez are permitted at teacher's discretion.
Tap & Jazz: Leotard and tights. Black jazz shoes and black tap shoes.
Boys: Black dance pants with plain white T-shirt and black dance shoes.
Hair Must be tied back and secured for class!
Teachers have the final say as to what is appropriate attire for dance class. If Students do not follow the dress code, they will not be permitted to dance.

A student must be at least 8 years of age and dance for a minimum of 3 years or upon a teacher's recommendation in order to participate in a lesson. Students will either take a lesson for just technique or perform a dance in a matinee performance during recital week and could compete upon teacher approval. A limited number of spots are available. |
